Western Oregon | I use a 1" spray hose around 50 feet long hooked to our irrigation mainline, probably around 70 psi. Just the hose with no fitting on the end. That is plenty of water and pressure for an old guy. It even does a good job of cleaning out radiators and cleaning out crud under tractor cabs. 50 feet is just enough to reach all the way around a tractor without equipment It helps to have someone in the tractor turning equipment around. The same hose can also hook up to our spray truck powered by a 5hp Honda pump. That is a little less pressure and 1600 gallons runs out after 10 to 15 minutes. | |
