Northwest IOWA | My nephew has the Miner transportation at Shullsburg for the school district . Its amazing how that area has changed , We were married over 40 years ago, and there was a Dairy every mile on the county roads in Lafayette Co . My father in law and a friend published a book of all the Cheese makers in area - Iv read a few books on the mining history there and I think there's a Lead shot tower that the Union Army got lead Minnie balls for their muskets, that is near there too... | |
