Reno Co KS | Fire hose will have fire hose thread. And that can vary be region but most if it is a national cut now, NHT. Your going to need adapters, which are available. I would not go over 1.5 and use a smooth bore nozzle. A combination or fog will require more psi to operate correctly, around 100 psi vs 50 for smooth. I like the 1in forestry hose for washing stuff.
I think you'd be money ahead to just us cam lock ends and small blue hose. Build your own nozzle out of pipe and a valve. I nearly have an unlimited supply of fire hose and equipment and I haven't messed with adapting it to hose thread. It does make nice hydraulic hose covers though. | |
