Yep fiber and newer fiber is superior to Starlink if it’s available. I think Starlink speeds and prices will continue to get better but can’t compete if fiber is available. And i also don’t want Starlink to have a monopoly but that seems unlikely.
I look forward to direct to cell or direct to device for Starlink or Amazon Leo in the future because 5g coverage area is terrible locally.
Your comments about fiber are not true everywhere. Here it costs $135 a month for 100mbs. Starlink 100mbs plan is from $40 to $60 per month depending on which sale you snag. 250 mbs for $80.
I and many of my friends love our Starlink.
