I currently run my starter fertilizer with Trimble Field IQ.  It works fine but it means I have two master switches and coverage maps to deal with on the planter.  The setup is a Surefire Tower 110 system with PWM controlled electric pumps and a flow meter.  The PP Rate Controller literature only talks about PWM controlled hydraulic motors.  Does anybody know if it will work with an electric motor setup?  If so, what all is needed and what does it cost?

I bet it can be done, we switched over an electric controlled motor on seeder from OEM to PP with a rate driver from Dultmeier. The 2020 tells the PWM motor the RPM to turn (once calibrated) the required speed to put on the correct rate. good part is all product is controlled and recorded with the 2020, so all maps are available on 2020 and Panorama.

look at Dultmeier website for PWM controller to see if it might work for you. IIRC it is a microtrak encoder. the 2020 is the brains, encoder makes it play nice. Dultmeier number is MT 01758 It is called Electric Pump Driver will control most 12v pumps to a maximum 40 Amps.

good luck
