Going on my 4th season. Tows with my defender on for solid 5 Mos of the year - 12-14,000 miles per year for scouting and soil sampling work bouncing all over state, county and lots of town roads. It is still solid.

Has a better hitch than the cheap ones (Demco), spring assist on the ramp, and while not perfect it seemed to be built heavy for a utility trailer. Has not disappointed. Aluminum trailers while pretty and guys like them - if you really use them they turn into cracked pieces of garbage in a few years. I tried that route.

If you are just towing between farms and an occasional road trip a good aluminum one is great, especially if it will live outdoors. If it is for real work look elsewhere.
