| I don't think I would try to run it with the crop cutter, but just the baler you can get by with the big tractor an the adapter..................I have run a 855 for quite a few years with an adapter on a 4960, make big windrows so the speed can be kept down and it works just fine. Would I want to make thousands of bales that way, no, but for a few hundred I make a year, works just fine for both hay and stalks. And it will get you through until you can either change out the tractor, or change the parts on the baler to run it on the 1000. | |
