Subject: RE: switching to electric transfer pump

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
We do all our mixing in the old shed at my place which becomes the mixing shed in season. I've used a Monarch Electric Transfer pump there for many years. It has never failed me. I mounted mine on a two wheel cart with quick couplers so it can be moved in the off season. I mounted a Raven 2" flow meter on it and a home made display that shows the running total.

I thought that possibly the impeller might have worn in mine since it has been used many years. I checked on this and learned that another company purchased Monarch and no longer supports them. I guess I will run this one until it quits and then look for another brand.

Not having to worry about starting, bad gas etc. is well worth it for me. Flip the switch and it runs. The pump itself is the same as the gas engine model. Its output is slightly less since the gas engine model runs a bit faster.
