Galena IL | I took a 4 X 8 table with 2 shelves under the top. Then mounted 2 pieces of 4 X 8 X 3/4 plywood vertical in the middle of the table. Used either 1 or 2 screws to hole my wrenches and sockets with size labels above each and long enough to hole 2. One side metric and the other SAE. Power tools on the shelves. The table legs have wheels under them so I roll it close to where I'm working if I have a big project. Easy to grab the correct tool and to tell if they are put back. I don't have too many dollars invested. As for you saying you want a long work bench, A old friend and very good mechanic said " all you need for a work bench is 2 X 2 foot, because that all that is clear anyway" ... Dennis | |
