I feel same as Garvo, if your trying to give a path forward to the next generation, your not going to use up the useful life of your stuff, without repair and replacement and tell them….good luck, I’m out.
You can if you want and I’ve got stories about the 80’s and that previous generation taking a hard line on this is MINE, not yours. Land contracts and maintaining value with 1st rights to any intrinsic value can show the true colors of someone…even family.
Point is…..if there’s a future for your heirs…..you’re fooling yourself on costs of maintaining your operation.
