Sw mn		It wasn’t a mistake to hedge your cattle at a profit. They are just worth more now or maybe even less in the future.

You sold your cattle for a price that is profitable, it’s ok. Just have to make a few margin calls. Not a big deal.

I know owe a guy who was in for $1 million of margin, he made it out just fine. Ended up only being $500,000 when done.

We all would make more if we knew the future.
