Southwestern Minnesota | I concur. Try to find a way to have a continuous glucose monitor work. The quick cause and effect data can go a long way to helping make better food choices. Also, if so inclined, getting an insulin pump can provide better control too. Those two devices (monitor and pump) have revolutionized diabetes control. If they need insulin, then insurance should pay for the pump and monitor devices. Unfortunately, controlling the diet and one's intake is the most challenging part of diabetes management for most people. | |
