Oh, keep in mind the affluent tend to live longer now, and generations ago. What most likely is/was the common diet? A variety of foods.

They were not eating "A diet centered on meat and potatoes, which was extremely common in the 1800s, particularly in America and parts of Europe, serving as a staple for both farmers and working-class families."
