Look, I know you're an intelligent guy. That's clear from some of the previous discussions we've had on agronomy topics.

Surely you understand the concept of fungible commodities.

If not, look up some of Josh Linville's recent content.

He's pointed out that shipping companies can buy barges of urea off the river, load them onto freighters at NOLA, ship them halfway around the world, and profit $100/ton. On 50,000 ton cargos, that's worth the paperwork.

It affects the US.
