coast of Maine
DPX2,more or less same here.I told her she could take them herself. She said (hushed voice)she was required as part of the protocol of the employer(med facility) to insist that I take statins. So the few times I go its always suggested and they type it in the records in the computer. As a side,My BIL had a diabetic heart attack 15 years ago at 50.he did not realize diabetic. They put him on statins then.I asked why not low carb.Wife/doc etc concerned of artery clogging etc.Now 15 years later ,he was on insulin, metformin, statins, and some other wonder drugs for weight...He has a bad heart attack 30 days ago.guess what ,,4 way bypass, open chest surgery.Clogged up all over. He is one of my best friends besides being BIL.Goes back yesterday,,xray's to check on things around heart,,,doc said"by the way we found wire we inadvertently left in your heart",,,,they need to leave it now,,WTF.
