Does anyone know the suggested pump max rpm for a DeWalt wheel barrow style compressor. As mentioned before, it originally had an electric motor and I’m assuming it’s max rpm was 2500??

This is a 20 gallon model:

According to Google:

Based on the specifications for the DeWalt DXCM201 20-gallon 2 HP belt-drive air compressor, the motor is designed for standard, high-efficiency operation, typically running at approximately 3,400 to 3,450 RPM.

As a belt-drive unit, the motor speed is higher than the actual pump speed, which allows the pump to operate at lower RPMs for reduced noise (78 dBA) and longer, more durable operation.

Thanks. I’m not sure on the original electric motor pulley diameter but it appears that the gas engine, is going to be 1000 rpm more.
