Subject: RE: Cow Calf shares.

Fontanelle, IA
I must not be thinking today because if feed and management takes out 66-89 percent of the income, why would the cow owner even own the factory - esp. if cow owner most likely is on the hook to maintain the size of the herd while getting the cull cow income?

And, if Crete’s $10,000 bull turns out gay or breaks his tool humping a thorny rose Bush growing in a 50 yr old roll of woven wire and your cows come up empty, your depreciation and deflation on your cow investment becomes horrible?

Edit: I guess I’m just having a hard time understanding why a cow owner would punt out the revenue at the high of the market - where the “high” future revenue is not guaranteed. This is why you own cows because you’ve most likely plodded through some not-so-fun financial times and had to merchandise more than just feed?

In my defense, Maybe I’ve paid too much attention to CarlsonCL in the past.
