I have diesel truck because I only need one type of fuel storage on the farm (gas augers etc are negligible use, and seasonal anyway).
However my diesel truck gets poor mileage (2017 power stroke in F350). And diesel is more expensive than gas and has been for quite a while, wasn’t that way 20 years ago but I guess we are never getting that back.
If I were buying new today it would be a 1/2 ton gas probably.
