South Dakota | I'm not hooked up to the planter currently but......Toned out my center pin on the 7 pin connector, back of the tractor. It connects to the john deere auxiliary power strip. That should supply you with power for the half width. What i was told when buying the planter is if you don't plan on using half width disconnect your planter will still work with no power to that pin.
I would get a test light and start checking your 7 pin connector. Could be your top pin, ground that isn't making contact and may make all the other lights work. Or take the 7 pin apart on the planter, some times the wires get pulled out of that plug. If your test light works at the tractor end it's probably your planter 7 pin connector. Hopefully it's not a wire issue where it's chewed up or destroyed.
