south texas
We have a 8970 and 9530. The factory a c is terrible in the 8970. The cab is Louder.

Other than those 2, they are pretty evenly matched. The powershift in the 9530 is nicer to run but the 24sp in the 8970 is much cheaper and easier to repair.

The 9530 has a communication issue right now. It may work for days or fault 10 times per day. I can't get it to do it when I'm available for diagnosis. The 8970 is all mechanical besides cab wiring and a engine sensors.

I run the 8970 bc it's not as nice to run. I don't mind it. My older helper has the 9530.
