Southwestern PA | I ordered a bunch of different things to try. I did order some of the OC tips. I think it was the cheapest option to go with. So if it works, I’m good. I also ordered some 5 way nozzle bodies for the boom ends and I can put a few different set ups on there and be able to switch between them fairly easily. Even if I have to just change the two end nozzles and tips from job to job, it’s a lot easier than having to switch them out on the whole spray boom. The one option I went with would give me a maximum spray width of 108 feet on the 80 foot boom. If for no other reason, the gps autosteer is worthless on hillsides around here. It just hunts back and forth sometimes. So, if I’m hand steering, I can be off by 10’ and not have any skips in the field.
