Seems like long/short works better in notill situations because you still get the double cut but you get a little bigger opening for the stem to get in and get cut off.
Maybe this is most of the reason that some people will say that the 600 series cuts better than a 900 series?
Does the fine tooth last longer than a course tooth?
I have been told that the fine tooth has a longer wear life than the course tooth. Short long does not work better in no-till. They make a more ragged cut than the long long. In wheat maybe you could make the case for fine tooth but that's it. Coarse sections are better in every way for beans. |
