She broke her left ankle 12 years ago so not the first go around. Broke that one in September. This time it's the right one and so cannot drive.
Would definitely take it as easy as you can. Had neighbor who broke his 12 years ago also and he was milking cows and all his chores. He can barely walk now because he didn't take it easy.
Definitely look into a knee scooter. Lots easier than crutches.
