When I worked at Terra in the early 90s we had a new 1803 with the 18 speed trans and Deere reared. Replaced the rear diff twice in that machine in the first 4 years. They had said at the time the rear ends weren’t made to turn the speed the Terragators were running at, were originally made for Deere log skidders if my memory serves me right.
