We lost one in a 1603 and one in a 1803. But to be fair neither "broke". Both lost outer axle seals and burned up the internal components due to lack of oil. One made it home and one was replaced in someone's driveway. Not sure on the 1803, but I believe the 1603 was called the Deere teammate II axle.
