Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Don't know where it came from but my nephew had a kit installed on an older Deere 8310. The tractor is used with a large manure spreader for solid manure and a large liquid manure rig for hog manure. They felt extra support would be wise.
The kit consisted of a bracket that went under the original drawbar and used a short length of heavy log chain on each side which bolted to the rear housing. For some reason, it got removed and some of the pieces got lost.
They have since replaced it with a kit from Deere that consists of a new very Heavy Drawbar and beefed up components under the tractor. It is probably the best way to go but it was EXPENSIVE.
I don't know if Deere made such a kit for your tractor.
Another trick I have heard of is to use a chunk of log chain attached to the 3 point. This transfers some of the weight to the 3 point arms. Personally, I would go a different route due to possible interference with the PTO etc.
