Kelly, you understand evaporation rates. That’s why being so dry now is a big concern. Going to take a lot of rain during the summer to raise a crop when starting out with no subsoil profile. And we’re not usually getting abundant rain during the summer. Or at least consistently.
We need 3-5” of rain in April just to get me interested in planting in May. Might get .15” tonight.
