So far, I haven't noticed any wash boarding. I have watched closely as this seems to be the number one complaint on these machines. I have ran one pass on stale ground that was worked last fall and I just finished on some loose dirt that had been disced. It all looks flat and felt good when planting across it. I will say that my top end speed was just over 7mph and some areas slower.
