So not trying to argue but if I liquify potash and force it thru a pivot I see responses. Every time I foliar feed anything I have to look pretty hard to see a response

Potash and map are both super soluble. I stand by my previous statement that 30 pounds dry spread would have a larger roi

Through the pivot and foliar are completely different tools.
A foliar would compliment your pivot not try to replace it.

All nutrients work foliar, it's just plant physiology.
Not all foliar passes create a yield response. That's just real world.
Foliar has specific but simple rules that need to be followed.

Did you test to see what the plant needed
Was the plant at an appropriate growth stage
Were conditions conducive for running the foliar feed?

Foliar is an effective tool in nutrient management systems. Almost every time somebody says I can't get it to work they are not following one of the rules.

I can't go spray dicamba in my field when there's a temperature inversion situation and say see it doesn't work.
