swmn | My wife had the same issue for years. After GI, asthma and everything else was negative. Pulmonary Dr put her on high does of Gabapentin and the cough stopped. Stepped down off the meds and it stayed gone. Called it a refractory cough probably from a Bronchitis that irritated the nerves that cause coughing. They had to eliminate all the other stuff first, but maybe that could help.
Coughing drove me nuts too and took 6-7 years to figure out, but it bothered her just as much living with it day after day. | |
