My wife coughs all the time. I know she cant help it but its to the point its hard to have a conversation with her at times. That's how bad it is. She's been to every Dr we can think of and still the same. Funny thing is, her mother has the same cough! Anybody ever dealt with this? Dr's cant really find anything thats causing it other than allergies?? I feel sorry for her and frustrated trying to talk to her with this cough constantly.
I might add, that my two blood pressure meds i am on (am on Bisoproloc and Valsartan, both) the doctor changed one to a higher dose and the other to a lower dose, reversing what I was originally on, as he thought the Valsartan was causing the cough, as my cancer doctor said it does cause a cough. I want the lung scan as I wonder about asthma (I have had bronchitis a couple of times), but like your wife, I want answers. |
Anybody ever have a chronic cough?
