All their excuses are invalid since we all face those issues. I'd like to know what capital expenditures have been made the past 5 years that were bad decisions. I see cooperatives purchase capital expenditures because the board members don't want to make those purchases for their own farm. The mentality is let the cooperative buy those tools and we will pay them to run them on our farm. Problem is the board members are about the only ones who want those services.
