Subject: RE: Anybody ever have a chronic cough?

My wife had the cough for about 4 years. It started for no reason and it seems to mostly have stopped (finally!) though she does have days where she coughs a lot.

She went to her GP, a GI doctor. An ENT. A lung doctor. Just about anyone who we thought might help. Chiropractor. Accupressurist.

She has Cancer about a decade ago and the cough started about 5 years ago. She also has asthma but does not have high blood pressure. Her asthma is under control. NO new meds before or during the cough.

I thought it may have been location based, but when we went out of state for 2-1/2 weeks a Christmas ago, it still persisted.

To this day we do not have any idea what caused it, but all of us are glad she seems to be on the downhill side of it.

I have had some weird aches and pains myself that medical science could not complain, but you'd think that with all this technology now they could have found SOME reason for it, but they never did.

I wish I had some sort of idea of what could cause it, but unfortunately I don't.

Stay optimistic and keep trying to find a cause, and maybe it will be like my wife's and eventually go away on it's own (sooner rather than later I hope).

Good luck.
