Subject: Frontier telephone company, you just gotta laugh


Morgan Co. Illinois		After my Dad passed away in 2012 our daughters and our nephews bought my Mom, now 92, an Ipad. I thought she would never use it but she pounds on it like you would drive a sixteen penny nail and yet it survives. A week ago her internet went out. Her internet provider is Frontier same as her land line phone. She calls them Monday. We'll send you a new router they said. Wednesday she calls my wife "I've got that new modem". Wife sets an appointment with her for 10am the next morning. Of course after 3 hours or so of fooling with it and waiting on the line for someone to answer she has gotten nowhere and they said we will send someone out tomorrow morning between 8 and 12. Wife gives them her cell number as the contact. Of course by noon no word from anyone. About 1 pm wife calls them and they say," Well we sent two texts to my mothers phone and got no response so we emailed her that the service call was cancelled." My wife responded "You texted to a landline that she pays you for and how can she get an email if she has no internet?" We'll see what happens Monday
