We were almost 20” less than average for rainfall last year. Champaign County was in severe drought. I have received almost 7” of rain this month. Friends have had over 8”. We were putting on ammonia Wednesday, but the latest rain event came through that night.
There is very little standing water where I farm. Tile lines are running. Now we are hoping it will stop raining so we can get back in the field
