Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
Lawn service guys are swamped servicing and getting lawn sprinklers going.
Very important to water trees. Both young and old trees.
Had a friend of mine have a fire last week. Fire burned through his yard of short buffaloe grass. The 40+ year old Spruce trees he watered good last fall didn’t burn. The rest did. Also, having lawn sprinklers turned on and a green fescue grass growing close to his house may have saved his house from burning up.
