Earlville, NY | I have a clothes dryer, electric, at farm. The heating element doesn't generate heat. I had a bunch of new spare parts; I assumed coil was bad since there was power to it, but a new one didn't work. I replaced all thermostats and thermal fuse since I already had them. Still no heat, dryer spins but no heat. There is current to element, current going through element and circuits but no heat. I've repaired dryers quite often, this has me stumped. Why would coil have power through it but not heat? Voltage is correct. | |
