ne nebraska | FieldView and gen 3 don’t talk nearly as good as the gen 2 and FieldView. To connect to the iPad you need to buy the FieldView module, as far as I know anyway, and it’s like $500ish if I recall. I can’t remember the exact price, but I remember thinking on whether or not I should purchase it.
Your gen 3 kit should have everything you need to make it work in the cab. None of the gen 2 stuff is used. Gen 3 has a box that sits on the floor of the tractor, gen 2 had it all contained in the monitor.
I do like the gen 3 better and I sprung for the iPad module and am glad I did.
$950 ish to run row cleaners from the gen 3.
