Southern Indiana | We've had a high voltage line running across our place for over 70 years. Haven't noticed any yield difference or cattle acting differently, but on a drizzly or snowy day you can hear the thing sizzling a 1000 feet away. (Our house). I remember my dad saying he left a tractor sitting overnight under it and next morning got a pretty good shock from it. Not sure about the voltage but I've always heard 50,000 volts. | |
