| Comment was made a few weeks ago about overreaction to storm warnings. I made the comment of the fequency of tornadoes in our immediate area in the last few years, and my inclination to hit the basement when the warnings go off. Was out with the wife for the evening and made the comment to her that the radar 15 miles west of us looked extremely threatening on the phone. Two minutes later the tornado warning was issued and we hightailed it for home and the basement. Several minutes later heard the all too familiar roar and after it was over found my son's barn roof lying acrossed the field. A few other buildings down and damaged in the neighborhood but thankfully one was hurt. Really getting tired of this $hit. Take the warnings seriously sometimes they're real. |
