Are you not working with a dealer on this upgrade? They should surely have helped you get the right harnessing? I did the same thing, but forget exactly what harnesses you need. It’s all different in the cab, that’s for sure.

I bought the module for CleanSweep, if I remember correctly, it was about 850-900, but don’t quote me on that. It’s well worth it. You get rid of the box in the cab, you can tweak the pressure in a few pounds at a time, and you can put in an offsetting pressure to keep the row cleaners from bouncing over bunches of trash.

I ditched FieldView last year. I manually upload my data to John Deere Op Center. The Gen 3 on its own is not equivalent to an online data management platform like FieldView, Op Center, or Panorama (the new Precision Planting online platform). But it depends on how much you want to have access to your information. I haven’t used Panorama, but was just at my dealer training this week and they mentioned about they could log in and help diagnose if you had that, it can automatically sync you data into Op Center, and a person can remotely see planter metrics.

I’m thankful for my awesome Precision dealer, they do a great job supporting and training their customers. When I see posts like this, I wonder if that’s an anomaly.
