Down here most tire damage from deer horns comes when wheat is planted that year or previous year and as the wheat heads out and the straw is toughest the bucks rake their horns in the headed wheat in feb, march time frame to shed horns. Needless to say, i do not plant wheat. Is this true also in other states?
