 39.48, -82.98 | One runs through Ohio, not far from me. No real issues that I'm aware of. Seems like AM radio reception fades directly under the lines. I have stood under it at night with a 4-ft fluorescent bulb, and that's neat. But even though it's high voltage and a lot of power, it's very low frequency at 60 Hz. So the fields around them don't affect GPS, cause cancer, or any of that nonsense. The main drawback for me is that they're ugly to look at. | |
