when we did a "green lightning" on farm fake N machine plot we applied zero pounds of N to the control plot and it still yielded 130 bushel corn. The pound of N a bushel is grandpas math. We can get by with less applied N and still grow good crops.
(consequently the full app rate of green lightning also yielded 130 or zero difference from the control)
