If you consider how this war is being waged, you'll find it's mostly about eliminating all of Iran's war machine (mostly hardware at this point). The idea is to neuter the current leadership so leadership not interested in terrorizing everybody can take over. I think we would prefer Kharg Island to remain mostly intact (though we did bomb the military installation there), so Iran can quickly start making some money once they are stable (and not terror supporters).
Will it work? I guess we'll see, but I prefer this to get now before those nuts have nukes. I don't think that's an extreme position, even if prices go up for short time. Btw, why do you guys all think prices will be high forever? Won't you back off on purchases for a while? Or, is the new model of farming "victim farming"? Just curious. | |
