southern MN | You know, that doesn’t sound too bad at all.
The old growth wood and barn boards and such might have a big value to someone.
But, tearing down and salvaging those items to keep their value, trucking them to where folk want them, dealing with possible lead paint and all these days, and all that must cost a great deal.
It’s like finding a rusty old car in a grove it had to be parked there for some bad mechanical reason to start with, 2 windows shot out, bits of decay and damage here and there. And watching those big restored car auctions saying, hey, I have a $120,000 car sitting in my grove!
Well…. Yea but…..
Paul
Edit: I would be careful of the ‘you might get $20k….’ That sounds like a hook to reel you in, at the end you would get 5k…. I would want that defined a whole lot better?
