I’ve also , wrongly , repeated and believed , at one time , the mantra that all wars are
Caused by religion .
Statistically , of the 1763 recorded wars , in “ Encyclopedia of wars “ , only 136 involved a Religious cause . (Less than 7 percent )
Religion is , of course , used as a tool to amplify conflict,
but rarely the cause .
