Two things are needed for a strong economy -- lower energy costs and reduced government spending.  Is either going to go down significantly and stay there anytime soon?

The cost of many of the raw materials used in my small business have gone up over 50% in the past year.  Something that cost $1,000 in March 2025, was $1,500 two weeks ago and is $1,600 today.  These data points indicate there's another plandemic-like step change of inflation working its way through the value chains.
