| Of course they do. Males are expendable. Anyone who has been around cattle knows this, I'm sure.
I always thought it was interesting when I used to be around moose regularly. When the rut hit, the bulls would not be interested in eating. One thing on their minds. They would go into the long winter skin and bone. The cows pregnant cows would go into it fat.
