Yup. Huge AI center being built in my neck of the woods. Currently hundreds of construction workers on site with a multi-million dollar tax abatement from county to have built. When done, construction workers pickup and leave, the new facility is supposedly only creating 40-50 new jobs, plus deduct how many jobs AI will eventually replace down the road outside of facility. And how is this a good thing for a county to allow this, let alone grant major funding? Having to ressurect  an old Nuclear Power Plant to help run it plus an un-Godly amount of water to cool it I was told.
